AND CONSTRUCTION OF RUNWAY 18/36 TURN PAD
AT PHETCHABUN AIRPORT
1. INTRODUCTION
With effect from 25 September 2020 at 0100 UTC to 6 May 2021 at 2200 UTC, this chart
is to inform all concerned of the overlay of runway 18/36, taxiways pavement, revision
of relevant lighting system and construction of runway 18/36 turn pad at Phetchabun Airport.
The details are as follows:
2. CONSTRUCTION AREAS AND PERIOD
2.1 The overlay of runway 18/36 and taxiways pavement.
2.1.1 The construction will be conducted at runway 18/36 and taxiways A and B pavement.
2.1.2 Runway 18/36 and taxiways A and B closed during the construction period.
2.1.3 The construction works will be performed daily from 0100-2200 UTC.
2.2 Revision of relevant lighting system.
2.2.1 The construction will be conducted at runway 18/36 lighting system.
2.2.2 The construction works will be performed daily from 0100-2200 UTC.
2.3 The construction of runway 18/36 turn pad.
2.3.1 The construction will be conducted at runway 18/36 turn pad.
2.3.2 The construction works will be performed daily from 0100-2200 UTC.
2.4 Throughout the construction vehicles and machinery in the site are all marked by 3'x3'
(90 x 90cm) orange and white checkered flags and equipped with obstruction lights.
2.5 The height of all machinery and vehicles must not exceed 13'(4m).
2.6 Due to the ongoing construction, pilots are advised caution during flight operations
(take-off and landing).
2.7 If there is aircraft accident, all personnel, vehicles and equipment must be moved out
as directed by air traffic controller and the emergency plan must be followed promptly.
2.8 Airport operators will be informed of declared emergency 30 minutes before conducting
construction works.
2.9 Chart related to the construction of airside management system is attached herewith.
3. VALIDITY
Charts 10-8 and 10-8A will remain current until 6 May 2021 at 2200 UTC.
Any changes will be notified through NOTAM.
