It is clear that group study has many benefits, however, individual learning also has many

advantages too. While learning alone increases the concentration, a well-managed study

group will help students rapidly improve as they discuss and grasp the crucial point of the
lesson and compare their works. This essay will discuss about the benefits of both these
study methods , because their benefits depend on some factors such as the study
environment and the students' ability. To kick things off, many students are passionate about
studying by themselves because they can concentrate better than when they are in a group.
For example, a friend of mine studies really well when he is alone but when he is in the class
, he can not really concentrate on the lecture. Apart from this, too much noise and too many
ideas can be distracting .
Secondly, each student has a specific expertise and can help others get better on the
subject they are bad at. That is the reason why many people prefer to study in a group. To
illustrate, when preparing for a big exam, each student works on their own and helps their
friends when they can not keep up. Moreover, you can learn numerous things when working
with the person that is better than you.
To sum up , studying with your friends can broaden your view as well as your
productivity since you gain so many ideas and knowledge because discussing one’s ideas
with friends is beneficial to one’s educational success
