Some people think that it’s better to study alone than in a group

Generally studying alone has many benefits than studying in a group but now I’ll consider
pros and cons of both of them.

Firstly, from my point of view, there are many advantages in studying individually. A
teacher pays more attention on your work. When there is a big group of students, a teacher is
not able to answer all of the questions. But if you study alone, the teacher can help you to
eliminate all your misunderstandings. Studying alone has another advantage that studying
with friends doesn’t have. Loneliness forces you to think. When you face some questions
which is hard to solve and there is no other students around you, you have to think hard and
try your best to answer them. This gives you an opportunity to improve your ability to deal
with problems by yourself. Obviously, studying with friends cannot give you these.

However, studying with a group of people will offer you a chance to exchange opinions
with others, can help build teamwork consciousness, which is much needed in today’s
competition world. To study not only means the improvement of knowledge, but also the
development of mental quality. Both can be benefit from group study. Presentations are
often required to be performed by a group of students. With a common goal to practice,
students usually attach great enthusiasm and spare no effort to achieve for self and group.

To conclude, students who are eager to make new acquaintances and learn other students'
points of view choose to study with a group of students. Those who need more teacher's
attention and individual approach usually prefer to study alone.
