Scientific/Research Paper Writing

to be held on 08-10 June,2012 at C.I.F.E., Mumbai
The National Academy of Sciences, India, one of the three Science Academies of the Country; was founded in the year 1930 with the objectives to provide a national forum for the publication of research work carried out by Indian scientists and to provide opportunities for exchange of views among them. The Academy tries to reach the masses for addressing the societal problems, especially those which could be solved with the scientific inputs and interference; it also publishes the reputed Journals to encourage the scientists and researchers by giving them opportunities to express their ideas/views, and publish their research work. But it has been felt that several researchers could not express correctly/appropriately the findings of their research while submitting their articles for publication. Therefore, it was decided by the Council of the Academy that The National Academy of Sciences, India will organize a series of workshop on Scientific/Research Paper Writing to inspire and facilitate the young researchers/scientists to understand the art of Scientific Paper Writing, so that they could properly present their research findings. After achieving three successful milestones (Workshops organized at centres of excellence at Varanasi, Allahabad and Lucknow), the next workshop is to be held at Central Institute of Fisheries Education - CIFE - Mumbai from June 08-10, 2012. You are requested to kindly send the entries through Registration form (enclosed herewith) of the eligible young researchers (only those candidates who have

not attended earlier) of your esteemed Department/Institute, keen to

participate in the aforesaid workshop.
Note: 1. Photocopy/download Form may also be used. 2. There is no registration fee; and boarding & lodging is also free of cost. 3. TA (AC-III) /DA is admissible as per norms of the Academy.
