From 1 January 2008, all licensed builders and swimming pool builders under the new CPD system will be required to accumulate at least 12 points in each year. Most CPD activities allow you to claim one (1) point per hour, and if you earn more than 12 points in a year, you can roll over a maximum of 11 extra CPD points into the following year. Each of our programs will earn you four (4) points and you can earn them in the comfort of your own home. Our courses are interactive which means you can ask any questions and interact with other builders during the session. All you need is a computer and internet access. Topics will cover areas such as contract law, homebuilding contracts, workers compensation, occupational health and safety, sub-contractors, home building disputes, use of Sketchup and sustainability.
