B#6 - Cabo P.O.V. I opened my eyes and saw Angelica beside me.

As I regained my full consciousness, I realized that we are sitting on a classroom chair. I stood up and looked around. I saw everyone is unconscious. I also noticed that there is something shiny on their necks. It looks like it's a necklace. I touched my neck and touched something cold. Damn, I'm wearing it too. I tried to wake up Angelica.

"Hey, Angelica," I said. No response.

I tapped her on the back, on the head, still nothing. I tried to wake up the others but still the same result. I looked around and noticed that we're inside a classroom. There is a light and a cool breeze coming in from the window. I went to the window and saw many soldiers, helicopters, and trucks. I heard someone groaned in the room. I turned back and saw Kevin finally waken up.

"Uhhh...where am I?" he asked to himself.

I approached him. He looks around the room. As I approached him, I saw that there are others who are finally regaining consciousness. I saw that they noticed the necklace they have. The room has been filled with murmurs and whispering. I finally made it to Kevin.

"Dude, you okay?" I asked.

"Sort of. My neck hurts," he answered.

The door opened and we saw Sir Laysa entered the room with a bunch of soldiers. All of them stand up. Everyone started to call him but Sir ignored them.

"Sir, where are we?" asked Queenie.

He didn't answer. My other classmates are asking him, still no answer. The soldiers have surrounded the whole room on each corner. Sir dropped something on the table that it caught our attention.

"Okay, sit down," he said.

We didn't respond. We just stared on each other.

"Sit down!" commanded the colonel.

All of us started to run towards their designated seat. We feel that something is terribly wrong. We looked again on each other. We are asking all the same questions. Where are we? What are we doing here? The colonel turned back again to sir.

"All yours sir," said the colonel.

"Good evening class," sir Laysa said, "I bet that you're wondering where you are, eh? You're in an abandoned isalnd in the municipality of Kalayaan in the province of Palawan. I think also you're asking what are you doing here."

He approached to the black board and wrote something. Everyone started to talk to each other. Sir turned around.

"No whispering!" he said, "What can you read?"

We looked again at the board. He wrote 'BR Act.' We heard Schylynn sob. We looked at her and we saw that she is staring at the board.

"Sir, please, please tell me that you're joking," she said.

"No, I'm not," he answered.

Schylynn buried her face in her hands and sob. We heard Sierra asked what is wrong but Schylynn didn't answered.

"Sir," someone said from the front row.

We all looked at the guy. He is not from our section and I think he's not a 9th grader, yet, he is wearing the same uniform and logo of our school.

"What is it?" asked sir.

"The President just approved that. Then that means we're the first ones?" he asked.

"Yes, that is correct," he answered then smiled.

He just stared off in blank space. We all looked back to sir. He is staring at us. I took of my sight to him and looked again at the board. 'BR Act' seems familiar. Where did I heard this? I can't remember!

"So, only two of you knows this," he said.

All of us nodded. I looked at Schylynn who is sttill crying and that unknown guy. What do they know that we don't know? Sir whistled. I looked back at him. He is looking furiously at me.

"Okay, now I'm going to explain to you this act," sir said, "this has just been approved by tho Office of the President. This act is also called as 'The Program.' This is a reality game show where you will kill each other."

All of us were shocked at what we heard. Kill each other? Some of us muttered what sir had said. The commotion has startled sir. He slammed the table.

"May we know proceed?" he asked. All of us nodded. "Next, about the necklace. That necklace is connected to our main computer. It sends data to your whereabouts and your pulse. So we can identify who's dead and who's alive. It is also permanent. If you tried to take it off, it'll blow up."

I hold on to the necklace that I'm wearing. Blow up? Seriously?!?

"Next, about the island. This island is divided into many zones. We will set up a danger zone every time we will broadcast what has happened. The danger zone is a prohibited place where you can't stay. If you are in a danger zone, the mother computer will send off radio waves to set the timer of your necklace and BOOM! You're dead. This school is a permanent danger zone, so don't try to come here."

Again, we are shocked at what we've heard. Some of us gasped. Some of us said 'What?!?'

"Next, the mechanics of the game. It is very simple, one man standing. That's the only rule. Kill your friends to survive. If there won't be killed for 6 hours, all of the necklace will tick and, again, BOOM! 'Kill or Be Killed,' that's the motto here."

The doors have opened and soldiers went in with a trolley of bags. There are designated numbers in each bag.

"Next, about the kits. Each bag contains a map, a flashlight, a compass, two waters, a food, and a weapon. Each weapon is given randomly, so some will be lucky and some will be not. Another thing, if you tried to escape this island, your necklace goes BOOM! if your distance exceeded 30 meters from the island. Now, any questions?"

No one raised their hand. I don't want to ask him but what will I ask? I don't know. Suddenly, Grace raised her hand.

"What is it darling?" sir asked.

"I don't want to participate," she said.

"Really?" he asked.

"Yes," Grace answered.

"Are you sure?" sir asked again.

"I'm positive sir," Grace answered.

"Think of what you're saying there young lady," sir said.

"I have decided, sir," Grace assured.

"Fine, suite yourself," sir said.

Sir took out a remote control and pressed something. Grace's necklace started to tick. Grace started to cry.

"I will miss you," Grace said to Clover.

"I will miss you too," Clover answered. They hugged each other. Grace ran outside and we heard a small explosion outside.

"One down," said sir Laysa.

Girls #2 - Aquino DEAD 44 students remaining

Clover cried and buried her face in her hands. Paul tried to comfort her.

"Okay, we will start the game. I'll call you alphabetically and the number I will say will be your designated number," sir Laysa said. "Boys, #1, Aguilar. Girls, #1, Alvarez."

Kevin went to the door. The soldiers gave him his bag and went outside. Jenny hesitated at first but with the help of her friends, she gets her bag and went outside.

"Boys, #2, Alcantara."

"Boys, #3, Arenas. Girls #3, Cabrera."

Whoa, wait. Katherine? She's not even in our class. Why is she here. She looked sir Laysa furiously before she left.

"Feisty girl, is she?" he said smiling. "Boys, #4, Balboa. Girls #4, Callios."

"Boys, #5, Bibal. Girls, #5, Dela Cruz."

"Boys, #6, Cabo. Girls, #6, Dela Puerta."

I looked at Angelica and she looked at me. I stand up and went to her seat. I took her hands and stand her up. We went to the door together. The soldiers gave us our bag and we went outside. As we walk out of the building, we saw Grace's corpse. Angelica cried while we walk out.
