G#3 - Cabrera P.O.V.

The sun's bright light wakes me up. I opened my eyes. The sun has just risen from the horizon. It has a spectacular view, the diamond-like shine of the sun as seen from the sea. I looked at my hand. I was sleeping at Jed's chest. I looked at his face, he is still sleeping. I can't take off my eyes in his god-like face. I lean over to his face and kissed him gently. I took off my lips and his eyes opened slowly. He looks at me.

"Good morning," he said.

"Good morning," I replied.

I stand up and went to my bag. I took my water bottle and washed my face. He went to my side and also did the same. It's very awkward, we're history but why do I still feel something for him. Oh stop it Katherine! I should think about this game and not about us!

"Hey," he said. I looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you think we can survive this?" he asked.

"Sir said that there should only be one winner in this game," I answered. He nodded.

He stands up and went to his bag. He puts his bag on his back, took his gun and walked away. I ran towards him.

"Hey, wait!" I shouted. He stops.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I want to be far from you," he answered.

"Why? What's the matter?" I asked.

"I don't want to kill you," he answered with sorrowful eyes.

"You don't have to kill me," I said.

"What makes you so sure?" he asked me.

"Well--" I said unfinished.

The sound system from the school distracted me. It was playing Cantata 140. We both looked at the school. There was someone speaking from it.

"Hello? Is this thing on?" Sir Laysa said. "Good morning class! Better wake up, because it's 6 in the morning! Here is the list of your dead friends!"

He went to my side and puts his arm on my left shoulder. I looked at him, he is seriously looking at the school.

"Boys #1 - Aguilar!" Sir Laysa said.

I felt his arm trembling on my shoulder. I looked again at him. His eyes are becoming watery. I looked back again at the school.

"Boys #2- Alcantara!"

"Boys #3 - Arenas!"

"Boys #5 - Bibal!"

He takes off his hold on me and punched a rock. The rock cracked and he sat down on it. This time he cried. I went to his side to comfort him.

"Boys #10 - De Guzman!"

"Boys #13 - Mendoza!"

"For the girls! #1 - Alvarez!"

"Number 4 - Callios!"

"Number 6 - Dela Puerta!"

He hugged me this time. I hugged him back. Looks like he's been a lot already. Both of his friends died and the one he promised is dead too. I felt sorry for him.

"Number 8 - Fajardo!"

I also remembered Rhyzza. I also cried with him.

"I know how you feel, Jed," I said to him. He hugged me tightly.

"And Number 26 - Tarantum! A total of 19! A very good job! Now get your maps and mark the danger zones!"

I took off from our hug and took my map on my bag.

"Starting from 7 to 8: A-8 and B-6. From 8-9: C-1 and G-4. From 9-10: F-6 and C-9. From 11 to noon: E-2 and D-3. That's for this morning," and Sir Laysa turned off his mic.

"C'mon let's go, this'll be a danger zone," I said.

He stands up and pass in front of me. I followed him and went beside him.

G#27 - Williams P.O.V.

I gathered all my stuff and took my bag. Before I leave, I looked again at Janzen's remains and asked sorry again. I went throught the door and run to the forest. As I run, I heard gunshots. I stopped and dropped my bag. I slowly looked at the place of the battle. I saw Anghela and Aynn. They both have a gun and they are both injured due to them, I think. Aynn's arm is massively bleeding. Anghela has a cut on her forehead.

"Die, bitch!" Aynn shouted.

"You die, bitch!" Anghela shouted back.

They are both desperate to fight each other. As I went back to my bag, I heard someone screamed. I looked back again and saw Anghela lying dead. Her head has exploded and her brain is scattered. I hurriedly went back to my bag and took out my gun, get my bag and tried to escape from them.

I stumbled on something and it created a sound. Aynn shoots and I got hit at my left foot.

"Ahh!" I screamed.

She shoots again and it nearly hits me. I rolled over and tried to stand up on my feet. I heard Aynn's footsteps coming in this way. I couldn't stand up and I fell on the ground.

"Ow!!" I screamed.

I saw Aynn is right in front of me and she points her gun on me. I take my gun and shoots her in the chest. Blood has showered all over the place. Her body fell. I looked at her and her chest has a hole and blood is still squirting. She vomits blood and didn't move. I crawled to a tree and there I healed my wound.
