Artificial Intelligence (AI) | FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg
a restaurant dine-in ordering app, by developing icons, UI elements, and core functionalities
using the Laravel framework.
The hands-on experience gained during my internship not only reinforced my technical
competencies but also underscored the importance of collaboration, attention to detail, and
problem-solving in real-world scenarios. These experiences have further fueled my passion
for
computer science and deepened my resolve to pursue advanced studies in the field.
I am particularly drawn to the Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence at FAU University of
Erlangen-Nuremberg due to its comprehensive structure and focus on the three main pillars
of
AI: symbolic AI, subsymbolic AI, and AI systems and applications. This aligns perfectly with
my
academic aspirations and career goals. I am especially interested in symbolic AI as it
fascinates
me, and I have a dream project related to it, inspired by the Jarvis AI from the Iron Man
movies,
which I aspire to build during my master's at FAU.
During my bachelor's, I was one of the top 3 students selected to attend an intensive one-
week
program at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, one of India's top computer science
institutes. This experience exposed me to cutting-edge research and innovative
technologies,
further fueling my passion for artificial intelligence.
Moreover, the program's international orientation and instruction in English make it an ideal
environment for both local and international students. I am excited about the prospect of
interacting with distinguished faculty members and collaborating on research projects that
contribute to advancements in artificial intelligence. The favorable student-to-professor ratio
assures me of ample opportunities for interaction, mentorship, and academic support.
Currently, I am enhancing my research skills under the guidance of a friend at MIT, focusing
on
publishing high-quality research papers. This experience will not only enrich my academic
journey but also enable me to make valuable contributions to the academic community at
FAU
University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

The reason I'm very interested in the Master's program in "Artificial Intelligence" at "FAU
Erlangen" is
that it offers an advanced curriculum with flexibility and opportunities for specialization. I
am interested
in its modules such as "Advanced Deep Learning", "Computer Vision", and "Pattern
Recognition ". These
modules will equip me with the necessary skills in advanced neural networks, image
processing, and
data analysis techniques. Another reason is that I am particularly interested in specializing in
"Image
Processing" because of its applications in areas like enhancing security systems and
improving
surveillance technologies. I want to contribute by developing advanced Al algorithms to
detect security
threats more accurately.
