The Natural Wonders of the World Tour

Lists of seven wonders began in ancient times by the Greeks. The "Seven Natural Wonders" lists varied, resulting in many more than seven wonders.

We will visit seven wonders that are truly remarkable feats of the natural world.

Angel Falls
Angel Falls is located in Canaima National Park, Venezuela in a remote jungle. It is the highest waterfall in the world, more than twice the height of the Empire State Building, and three times the height of the Eiffel Tower.

Aurora Borealis "Northern Lights"

The Aurora Borealis appears in the far northern night sky as a faint glow on the horizon. Green and red flames of light stretch across the sky. A glowing curtain of light forms, waving and swirling above you. As the lights fade away the dark night closes over you once again.

THE ROCK: ULURU (AYERS ROCK)


Long considered a sacred place by the Aborigines, Ayers Rock is located in central Australia in the Northern Territory. It is the world's largest monolith, rising 862.5 meters (1,143 feet high) and covers an area of 3.33 square kilometers.

Guilin
There is a popular saying about Guilin, "the mountains and water of Guilin are the finest under heaven." Guilin is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (South China) and is famous for its dramatic peaks, clear waters, caves, and long history.

Grand Canyon Measured in Colorado River miles, the Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and begins at Lees Ferry and ends at the Grand Wash Cliffs. It is 18 miles across at its widest point and consists of more than one million acres of land! At the North Rim (which has only seasonal access) it is 6000 feet (1829 meters) deep.

Great Barrier Reef The Great Barrier Reef stretches along the east coast of Queensland in Australia. It is the world's largest coral reef . It is over 2000km (1250 miles) long! It is not a single reef at all. It is made up of over 2900 individual reefs very close to each other.

Iguassu Falls Iguassu Falls is on the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Igua comes means Great Water. The falls are 3 kilometres long and 60 metres high and consist of 275 separate falls.
