Assignment for Mr. Bajaj

Acute shortage of manpower faced by IT


department of Alfa Chemicals.

Requirement of 10 employees consigned by


Mr. Raj .

Mr. BAJAJ got the letter from Mr. Raj, and he


started processing of it.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
• He approached many sources.
– 100 resumes from data bank of company.

– Informed the employees and employers through


their respective departmental notice board.

– External to the organization he floated an


advertisement in several daily news papers .
Assortment of Employees

• 10 candidates finally selected.

• The entire process of recruitment and selection took


almost 3 months.

• list forwarded to the top management for the final


approval.

• HR department informed the candidates that the


appointment letters will be sent to those who are selected
for the post.
Anxiety of Mr. Bajaj

• Mr. Bajaj approached Top


management many times

But, no reply at all………….
