and carbon dioxide through the action of yeast.
• Equations:
 Photosynthesis (Endothermic):
6CO2 + 6 H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2
 Respiration (Exothermic):
C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6 H2O
 Fermentation (Exothermic):
C6H12O6 → 2C2H5OH + 2CO2

* Fermentation stops at about 18% as the alcohol kills the


yeast, stopping the fermentation process
