CLASSROOM PROCEDURES
1. ENTERING THE CLASSROOM
- When entering classroom, you must have your notebook, homework, and sharpened pencil in hand!
2. START OPENING ASSIGNMENT
- Opening assignment will be on the board or at your desk. Begin immediately upon sitting.
3. LISTENING TO TEACHER AND OTHERS
- See classroom rule #2
4. SHARPENING PENCILS/MOVING ABOUT THE CLASSROOM
- See classroom rule #3
5. WORKING IN GROUPS
- While working in groups, talking is permitted at a low voice
6. LEAVING THE CLASSROOM FOR BREAKS
- There will be a break between periods/it must be earned!
- Breaks will commence when TEACHER says! Not when bell rings
7. DISMISSAL/END OF CLASS
- Class will be dismissed at the TEACHERS signal
- Ensure homework has been copied/placed in notebook!

1. Today we will learn the procedure on CLASS-YES
2. Why is it important?
It is how I will get your attention in the class
It ensures all students are paying attention to the teacher before moving on to the next thing
Keeps the classroom quiet when necessary

Teacher: When I say Class!, you say Yes! Class!
Students: Yes!
Teacher: However I say Class!, you say Yes! Class! Class!
Students: Yes! Yes!
Teacher: (Using a low voice) Claaaasss!
Students: (Mimicking the teachers low voice) Yesssss!
Teacher: (Using a high voice) Classssss!
Students: (Mimicking the teachers high voice) Yesssss!
Teacher: Classity, class!
Students: Yessity, yes!
