    UTILIZING ASSESSMENT IN
    THE CLASSROOM
    -I use summative and formative teacher created assessments in all
    subject areas
    -Data tracking with students with pre and post test scores
    -Use assessments to put together intervention and enrichment
    groups

    CHALLENGES WITH
    ASSESSMENTS
    -It is very difficult to differentiate assessments based on student
    skill level
    -How much is too much? Students complain about pre and post
    testing
    -Same students are continuing to do poorly on assessments

    WHAT I HOPE TO LEARN


    -Like I said, how much is too much?
    -How should assessments look?
    -Ideas for new ways of assessing my students without using paper
    and pencil tests
