PASSIVE VOICE

Definition :

A clause where the position of a subject is being replace by object, visa versa

Formula :
S + be + V3 + (by agent)

Example :

Active voice: I read a book.

Passive voice: A book is read by me.

GERUND

Definition :

Gerund is a verb used but the function become object.

Formula :

1.As Subject

Gerund (Verb + Ing) + be/adjective/verb/object

Example :

Swimming is my hobby

2. As Object

Prepotition + Gerund ( Verb + Ing)

Prepotition : about, in, for, of, without, from, by

Example :

We talk about going to Bali for our vacation

MODALS

Definition :

A modal (also known as a modal auxiliary) expresses

necessity, uncertainty, ability, or permission.

Formula :

S + Modals + V bare infinitive + (O)

Example :

You Can Watch TV after doing your homework

S : Subject
be : auxiliary verb
(am, is, are, was, were, has been, have been, will be, dll)
(by agent) : Actors
V Bare Infinitive : V1 without adding anything
