SIMULATION
Is the imitation of the operation of real world
process or system over time
Used to reduce the changes of failure, to prevent
under the over utilization of resources, to optimize
the system performance and also best to answer
questions
Consist of 4 components:
System entities
Input variables
Performance measures

GRAPH OF SIMULATION

Graph 1: 0

Graph 1 shows the

relationship of Lynx and
Snowshoe hares when
there is no number of
Lynx at an area.
The interaction between
Snowshoe hares and
Lynx are constant.
We can predict that
there is no predation
occur among Lynx and

Graph 2: 400

Graph 2 shows the

relationship between Lynx
and Snowshoe hares when
the number of Lynx harvest
is 200.
We can predict that when the
number of Lynx increases,
the number of Snowshoe
hares will declines.
This is because all Lynx are
hunting for Snowshoe hares.

Graph 3:
600

Graph 3 shows the relationship

between Lynx and Snowshoe hares
when the number of Lynx harvest in
an area up to 600.
We can see that the Snowshoe hares
increase rapidly when the
population of Lynx decreases.
When the number of Snowshoe
hares increase, the number of Lynx
also follow the trend.
This is because the Lynx received
food source again.
But when the number of Lynx
increases so there are too many
Lynx that hunted for Snowshoe
hares.
Thus, the number of Snowshoe
hares decline.
