To feed the
hungry

Last March 11, Friday,

We went to the Jardin De Maria
Foundation, Inc. where we
brought some snacks for the
orphans there. In this picture, I
served them the pancit and
sandwiches that we prepared.
Its a joyful experience to share
blessings in some little way that I
can give.

To give drink to the

thirsty

The water is the Holy Spirit by which we bathe our souls in the
Essence of God and are made ready for our missions and
purpose in life. This corporal work of mercy shows that you will
give not just a drink but a hope to the person you given to. Like
water, it is the reflection that will give a purest intention to the
person. We find that one can live much longer without food
than without the water so needed by the body.
- Orapa, Judy Rea

To clothe the
naked

This is our chosen charity. This is my former Alma Mater

and I know there are lots of children who needs our help. I
was assigned in To clothe the naked so I brought my old
clothes to donate it to the needy instead of throwing it
away. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to step out in
our comfort zone.

To shelter the
homeless

Because God created us equally, its a right to give

shelter to the children who were abandoned by their
parents. Give them a home built with love. When we
visited the orphanage, despite of everything I noticed
that all children there are in good hands and safe.

To visit the sick

Last Saturday, March 12, I visited some

patients of St. Michael Hospital in Bacoor and
I also offered a prayer for them.

To visit the
imprisoned

Prison can seem like a place not connected with our real lives until we
learn about someones son, daughter or other family member who is
behind it. No matter where we live or how much we earn, we probably
know someone with a family member in prison. Thats when it becomes
more real. The person convicted of a crime still needs support and love
from home, and receiving mail or visits when possible, are a key to that
support. We might support a prison ministry in our area with donations of
our time, money and/or needed supplies. I could offer a support to retreat
programs held in prisons.

To bury the dead

I visited the graveyard of my two brothers. I

brought a two candles with me which I lit
while I'm praying for them.
