ROTARY NAGAR PROJECT

During this Rotary Year 2016 - 17, which commenced on 1.7.16, the Rotary
Nagar Project has witnessed active participation from the local community
as well as the Rotarians in equal measure. This has augured well for the
Project, with positive approach and enthusiasm among all involved with this
project being clearly visible.
Rotary helps to educate the bright students who come from the lower
background by giving scholarships.

TAILORING AND EMBROIDERY

CLASSES
48 women of Rotary Nagar had successfully completed Tailoring Classes conducted by
Rotary Club of Madras recently. In order to enable them start their own tailoring business,
the Rotary Club of Madras has financially supported these 48 women, by bearing 50% of the
cost of each sewing machine. The beneficiary has borne the balance 50% .
