Occupation/Job His occupation was really a researcher at NASA and he was really who had mostly researched about things that related to ice, sea level, solid earth, and space geodesy and has published many papers. Discovery/Invention Surendra Adhikari has discovered that our planets recent polar wanderlust has two causes: the melting of the Greenland and West Antarctic ice sheets, and changes in the global distribution of water stored on land. Both of these are related to a single underlying phenomenon(to exist or happen). It is important to science because it is related to earth and its discoveries are based on science. How and Why did you pick this person? How- how I found out about this person was googling it and I found in a section that says Nepal Scientists, As I scrolled down, I found that person who had the more information. I picked this person because as I read about him and what he did, made me want to know more about him and I was interested in his discoveries and that one quote which was In those days in Nepal, I dont think anyone wanted to be an earth scientist per se. Engineer thats what I wanted to be, , This made me feel that one day, I will also be an Nepalian Engineer. Resource
