1) Start Milestone Typically used to mark beginning of a phase or

major stage in the project

2) Finish Milestone Used to mark the end of a phase or major stage in

the project.

3) Task Dependent Typically used when the work needs to be

accomplished in a given time frame.

1) Finish to Start (FS) Relationship

A relationship in which the start of a successor activity depends on the

completion of its predecessor activity. This is the default activity relationship.
