Water Related Problems in Bangladesh

India is diverting most of our upstream rivers by artificial barrages, i.e, Gabga
barrage, Tista Barrages etc.

Over exploitation of non-renewable underground reserve water, every year water


table is decreasing 1 meter

Untreated Industrial waste water is polluting most of our rivers that ultimately
damages aquatic ecosystem and results chronic diseases, i.e, cancer, Kidney
failure, skin diseases, hepatitis.

Climate change induced drought is occurring in the country. This led to crop
damages.

Bathing --- 30 Liter
Toilet --- 30 Liter
Washing Cloths --- 35 Liter
Room Cleaning --- 25 Liter
Miscellaneous --- 20 Liter
Total 150 Liter
