Think Before you Post!

Why its so important

Your words and or pictures can have a far-reaching and lasting impact on others and
yourself. For that reason, its so important that you stop, think and think again before you
send any email content or post anything on a social media site.
Stop and Think

Before you hit send or post ask yourself the following questions:

-Is this MY information to share?

-If my parent or teacher were on my shoulder watching me, would they approve of this?
-Would I say or show this image to a friend to their face?
-What are the consequences of sharing this information?
-Does sharing or typing this feel good in my gut?

If you cant answer yes to all of these questions, then you need to REALLY reflect on if this
appropriate to send.

I made a mistake, now what?

If you find yourself in a situation where youve made a mistake and sent something you
now realize you shouldnt have, ask a trusted adult for help. With their guidance, then can
help you find a solution to your problem.
