History
 The USNA was founded on
October 10, 1845 by
the Secretary of the
Navy George Bancroft. The
academy was established on the
grounds of Annapolis at the former
US Army Post Fort Severn.
Description

 The USNA is a public

institution, they have no
religious affiliation. The
USNA is a medium sized
coed school. They have
everything they need to
become the brave men and
women in the Navy.
  To apply to the USNA you will need the following:
 Academic GPA 3.8, Application Essay, Character/Personal
Qualities, Class Rank, Extracurricular Activities, Interview, Level of
Applying Applicant's Interest, Recommendations, your transcripts, 1400 sat
score.
  If a student is placed of academic probation they would be show in
front of the secretary of the navy and it is his choice on what
happens next
 They offer majors of stem and some languages and history's they
Academics have honors for all majors you can double major in any of the
majors you cannot study abroad there is no liberal arts there are
no internships
 And I am going to take the history major
Surrounding Area
Activities
 There are multiple activities outside
of the USNA. For example, like
going to the football games on the
other side of the College
Creek you can go to the Navy
museum that show everything you
can do in the Navy.
  Students attend the Naval Academy tuition free.
Financial aid
 Upon graduation all students are commissioned a Second
and Lieutenant in the navy or the Marine Corps
scholarships
Career services
 The United States Naval
Academy will help get me a
job because they will send you
into the Navy right away for 5
years they will help you find a
job after you are done
surviving.
Social Activities
 At the USNA there are varsity
sports like football, basketball,
cross country, rowing,
swimming and diving, soccer
there are a lot ways to meet up
with friends
On campus living
 There are dorms available all
around campus. During the 4
years on campus you stay with
the same roommate for 4 years.
You cannot change your
roommate. You cannot live
off-campus.
Meal plans

 The King Hall there is

no cost for food.
 They normally make
eggs made to order for
breakfast lunch normally
is a sandwich and a
vegetable dinner is the
same as lunch but a
main meal of chicken
or beef of fish with
vegetable.
