 Samara is one of the largest cities in Russia, located in the South-Eastern part of
European Russia, on the Volga river.

 The city was founded in 1586 as a trading centre. It is now an important


political, industrial, technology and cultural center in Russia.

 Samara National Research University, named after the renowned academic and
aerospace designer, Sergei Korolev, is a Russian national research university.

 Samara University graduates engineers and managers for the aerospace, radio-
electronic, information technology, metallurgical and automotive industries.
PROGRAM

Samara University invites bachelor’s and master’s students to High Technology


Management Summer School 2018.
The Summer School 2018 aims to discover challenges of management of high-tech
enterprises. They have an exciting offer of high technology projects commercialization
study. This course is open to all ambitious students studying human sciences or
engineering and mathematics. HTM Summer School 2018 includes:
 tours to the university’s research laboratories
 visits to Samara plants and innovation enterprises
 lectures by teachers from different countries
 workshops with innovation entrepreneurs and mentors
 business advice from the best coaches
 cultural program in Samara city
 travel to Moscow – the capital of Russia and St. Petersburg – city of palaces
(optionally upon request*)
The main advantage is that everybody can get not only knowledge but also experience,
learn culture of Russia and make new friends.
PROGRAM FOR DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND
MANAGEMENT

 The Department of Economics and Management of Samara National Research


University (Samara University) is launching its 2017 High Technology
Management (HTM) Summer School.

 We have a very exciting offer combining teaching with the actual delivery
of a technology commercialisation project, tours to Samara University
research laboratories and a cultural programme.

 This course is open to all ambitious management students.

 Students will chose their project from one of the set themes and form a group
of 4-5 students.

 The group will research, analyse and present on the theme, receiving
support from Samara University faculty and our outstanding research facilities.

 Upon completion of the course, all participants will be provided with a certificate.

 Participants who take the final exam will also be provided with an official academic
transcript to allow students to transfer credit, if desired.
