Literature Review
Abisheak (2010)Now the present world going to more
automation and save the environment. The motor speed has been
vary and take off the moisture present in the glass. There are
different kind of sensors, microcontroller has been used to control
the system.
M.A.salim (2010) Wiper is the device that is used to clean the
surface of the glass. Wiper system want to operate without any
noise and without producing any damage in the glass. If any
vibration has been created means that less visibility to the driver.
The aim of this paper is to avoid the friction between the glasses.
They were reduce the 30% of the friction between the glasses

3
Patel vipul (2015) Now we are travelling more automation world.
The wiper system has plays major role driver safety, vehicle safety
and passenger safety during travelling. They had been fixed
automated sensors to operate the wiper motor. Different types of
sensor has been used in this system. Their aim is to produce clear
view to the driving people.

S. Bennatil F. Quttrol Wiper blade is a component that has been

produce more friction that can affect the glass so that they reduce
the friction.it has some degree of freedom, the linear spring is used
to move the wiper blade. There are the three dimensional motion
has been chosen, a first evaluation of the different limit cycles for
the block’s motion is illustrated.

4
William R. Westfeild (1991)The polycarbonate has been used in
the automobile glass to increase the clearance. The many layer of
polycarbonate has been laminated to increase the clearance. The
wax has been coated to avoid brakeing. The main aim of the
project is to increase the clearance to the drivers.
.

Godelieve kramer, (2009) There are two strip in the wiper blade
that has been upper strip (a) and lower strip. That two also has
been used to clean the glass. The air hole has been fitted in the
wiper blade that is used to flow of water. Sometimes there are two
strip has been attached.

5
Scope

• Automobile windshield multiwiper has been used to rub the

moisture present in the inside of the glass surface
• We can use this idea in all automobile vehicles
• Now a days the accident rate has been increasing we can
produce clear view to the driver means some percentage of
accident has been reduced.
• Main scope of our project is to produce clear eye visibility to
driving people

6
Objective

• A windshield wiper is one of the most familiar of automotive

accessories. Wipers are used to clean vehicle windshield to
give drivers clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead no
matter what the weather. The electric wiper moves back and
forth across the windshield`s glass to sweep debris, water, and
snow out of the way.
• Almost all motor vehicles, including cars, trucks, train
locomotives, watercraft with a cabin and some aircraft, are
equipped which wiper are the legal requirement.

7
• The mechanism behind wipers is the windshield wiper motor,
which provides the power the wiper need. A linkage converts
the rotational output of the windshield wiper motor into the
back-and-forth motion of the wipers.
• A worm gear controls the force that the windshield wiper
motor delivers to the driven arm by slowing down the speed of
an electric motor.
• This model shows an application of a four bar mechanism that
converts the rotation of an electric motor into the sweeping
motion required for a windshield wiper mechanism. The
friction between the wiper blades and windshield is accounted
for in the bearing friction component.
• The wipers secured by pivots, are mounted on brackets at both
ends of a connecting link, which is basically long rod.

8
Working

• A wiper generally consists of an metal arm, pivoting at one

end and with a long rubber blade attached to the other, the arm
is powered by a motor. A wiper motor is a permanent-magnet
direct current.
• In an wiper motor extending a shaft from it and give an inner
windshield wiper. Thus the inner windshield wiper is used
when an heavy rain, snow, ice and the air moisture will appear
in an inner windshield.
• At the time it will disturbance to the drivers to avoid this to use
an inner windshield wiper. Both the wiper blades are moves
simultaneously.

9
Cont..

• When blades are move simultaneously means that do not

create any disturbance to the driving people.
• The inner wiper has more graphite content in natural rubber so
that only produce less friction.
• The less friction content save the glass from damage.
• At last clear visible has been produced in the glass that is been
produce clear visible to the driving people

15
Result &discussion

• We had fitted the internal wiper for the automobile vehicles

,in the rainy seasons the mist has been formed inside the glass.
• That decrease the visibility of the drivers that causes some
accident to avoid that we implementing the internal wiper
• We had fabricated the prototype that has in successful working
condition.
• After that we going to implement in some vehicles.

16
• Advantage • Disadvantage
• Low cost • In India only used in rainy
• High efficiency and winter season only.
• Life of the glass is long due • It need regular maintenance.
to low friction

17
Application
1. It is used in cars to clean moisture has present inside the car
glass .
2. It also used in heavy trucks to clean the moisture content
and dust present inside the glass.
3. It also been apply in the ships when the weather condition
has been change means inside wiper has been used.
4. It also been used in aeroplanes.
5. This has been used in all hilly region four wheeler vehicles.

18
Conclusion
• Thus inner windshield multiwiper in windscreen is used for
cold region areas.
• This wiper also been hilly region vehicles.
• That cost of the inner windshield multiwiper is low.
• Its mainly used for an heavy trucks , cars and passengers
vehicles.
• Now a days the accident rate has been increasing we can
produce clear view to the driver means some percentage of
accident has been reduced.

Estimation

component cost
Wiper motor 1000
Wiper blade 350
windshield 1000
Steel stand 700
battery 2000
wire 50
total 5100

Future work
• Our future work is to remove the wiper from the vehicle and
then replace the normal glass to mercury treated glass
• Mercury treated glass that can not combine with water so that
the it not allow the water in the glass surface.
• By some chemical reactions combine the silica material and
mercury metal and the glass has been formed
• We going to introduce mercury glass at low cost and want to
introduce all type of vehicles
• We increase the safety to the people to travel in the vehicle
