AGE PROBLEM
Tips:
• One Variable is assigned every person mentioned in
the problem
• In making equation, linking verbs (i.e. is, was.. Etc)
are usually but not necessarily equality, depending
on how it is used in the problem.
• In table form solution, the following modifiers of
time are very important

• Past Age – was, were, ago, last, yesterday...
• Present Age – is, are, am, now,being
• Future Age – will, shall be, further, hence...
Note:
• No. Of years passed by: Present – Past
• No. Of years to come: Future – Present

If the problem involves interchanging of the
digits in the integer then you would need to
convert from the digits to numbers and vice
versa. To convert the digits to numbers, we
need to multiply with the digit with
