Nuevo León is one of the largest economies in the nation,
which contributes with 7,4% of the national Gross Domestic
Product, indeed classifies as one the many competitive
advantages offered by the state to national or foreign
investment.
US is Nuevo León’s chief trading partner.
It counts on a superb transportation infrastructure conformed
by road and railroad networks, a commercial airport, a
freight terminal, up to-date communications technology and
a surplus in the generation of electric power, as well as in
the production of natural gas and recycled water for
industrial use.
In average, a worker in Nuevo Leon earns wages as
much as 22% higher than the same trade would pay
in the rest of the country, which is clearly expressed in
the quality of life seen across the state cities.
MONTERREY
Is a major industrial center in northern Mexico.
The city has prominent positions in sectors such as steel,
cement, glass, auto parts, and brewing.

The city´s economic wealth has been attributed in part


to its proximity to the United States-Mexico border
and economic links to the United States.
Monterrey is home to transnational conglomerates such
as Cemex, FEMSA, Alfa, Axtel, Vitro, Selther, Gruma &
Banorte.
Monterrey was ranked 94th worldwide & 5th in Latin
America in terms od Quality of Life according to
Mercer Human Resource Consulting.
