INTRODUCTION

•Now-a-days driverless metro trains which are used in

most of the developed countries
•These trains are designed to be in a specific path with
desirable time and speed controls.
•This eliminates the need of any driver. Thus, any
human error is ruled out.
OBJECTIVE

•Few aspects of this automation tasks are considered, and a microcontroller-

based prototype is developed
•Actions such as traveling through a given path with predefined stations
•sensing the arrival at the station and hence, proper stopping are
implemented
•Sensing problems with the path and responding to it, hence avoiding major
accidents.

ANTI COLLISION DEVICE

• The Anti Collision Device is a form of

Automatic train protection.
• ACDs have knowledge embedded intelligence
• They take inputs from GPS satellite system for
position updates.
• It act as a watchdog in the dark as they
constantly remain in lookout for other train
bound ACDs
The project aims at designing Anti-Collision System
and controlling unmanned Railway crossings. The
anti-collision system is implemented by fitting GPS
receiver in each train. Each train will compare the
GPS co-ordinates sent by the neighboring trains
with its own GPS co-ordinate system. When the
difference between the trains coming in same GPS
co-ordinate reaches minimum level, then both
trains will stop.. The received location will send
form the server in the form of GSM modem and the
server will response the position of the train.
DESIGN OF CIRCUIT
•The +5 volt power supply is based on the commercial 7805 voltage regulator IC.
•This simplifies the design and layout of the circuit considerably.
•The 7805 voltage regulator IC is capable of handling load currents up to an ampere
ADVANTAGES

•Pre information of train arrival.

•System placed within locomotive of
the train.
•Accident avoidance.
•Driverless system.
