Figure 1 show that students agreed that students like to gain attention 50% is the main cause of cyberbullying
while critic / judge on physical is 48%. This is followed by addiction to social media which is 30%. About 24% of
students choose no love from family is the cause of cyberbullying. Seeking compliments from others only get
8% agreed by the students. Active on social media is only 4% and likes to brag in Facebook 2% choose by
the survey respondents. Others is the least cause because no one choose it.

Figure 2 represents the factors why does gain attention leads to cyberbully. There are 5 factors
which are insecure with other’s life, attract people and follower, jealousy , low self esteem, and no
activities and maybe have other factors. The graph shows 20% factors is insecure with other’s life,
18% attract people and follower, while 16% are jealousy. Then 12% has low self esteem and 2% is
no activities why students like to gain attention.

Based on Figure 3 above the majority of students, there is (70%) agreed that
depression is the effect of cyberbully. This is followed by fear with (34%). About
(22%) of students state that stress is the third cause of cyberbully. Only (8%)
students are anti social and followed by (4%) trauma that effected by
cyberbully. Lastly, others effect of cyberbully is (0%.)

Figure 4 above shows that 34% of the students agreed that pressure by people around is the main
factor of depression caused by cyberbully. This is followed by facing physical and mental issues
with 18% and about 12% of the students mentioned that low self esteem is the third cause of
cyberbully. The next following factor is feel emotionally in pain that consists of 10% of the overall
students while the other 8% remaining chose continual feelings and helpless which is the least
reasonable factor of depression caused by cyberbully. There is no any other answers given by
respondents.

Figure 5 above shows that (42%) of the students agreed that the best solution is to teach
students to report when being abused. The second best solution is to learn how various social
networking website work which is (32%). Educate faculty and staffs about perils cyberbully, I
ignored it and limit children’s screen time/online activities have a different not far with (30%),
(28%), and (26%). In 6 solution, reported the behavior got a lower percentage which is (24%).
