Characters: Setting:

- Prometheus
- Epimetheus
- Pandor

Initiating Event:
- Zeus becomes angry at Prometheus for giving fire
to the humans.
Rising Action
Zeus sends Pandora to fall in love with
Epimetheus, Prometheus’s brother.

He sends her with box but instructs her that


she must never open it.

Epimetheus and Pandora fall in love.


Climax
Pandora’s curiosity gets the best of her and
she can’t longer resist the temptation to open
the box.

Hate, famine, crime, cruelty, sickness, envy,


war, etc. come rushing out into the world.
Falling Action
Pandora hear a faint noise coming from the
box.
Conclusion
When she open the box, “Hope” spread its
wings and flew from the box into the world.
Symbols
Box = human nature; evil things
Winged Creature = Hope
Theme(s)
Even though there are a lot of bad things in
the world, “THERE IS ALSO HOPE”.
