Introduction
 Facts
 Small family.
 Most parents are educated.
 A huge improvement in technology.
 Expectation
 Pupils have more chance to succeed in their life.

Relationship with parents
 Before:
 Majority of Mothers were housewives
 Preoccupation was to take care and educate them well.
 Today
 Mothers want to fulfill all degrees of education
 Mothers want to provide some extra
 Keep their children with a babysitter

 They will not be educated as the parents would have


whished

Relationship with teachers
 Before :
 Teacher made just school lessons.
 Pupils and parents respected them a lot
 Nowadays :
Teachers have a big responsibility:
 Talk about common problems ,
 Parents give them a responsibility
 The respect depends on teacher ‘s ability and the subject
that he or she teaches.

Problems with teachers
• Some teachers have lost their love to teach
• Some teachers find many problems to cope with the pupils.
• Some teachers are selfish, they are making
much less effort to give information to pupils
• They make pupil’s life hard
• Pupils have no choice other than taking an extra support

Problems with Pupils
 Pupils are worried only about marks
 Pupils work seriously and
be attentive only when exam approach
 They lack good study habits .
 Therefore they have many weakness.
 They prefer spending hours and hours
on Face book, Internet, Movies ,Games…
 So the intellectual level of pupils is decreasing.

Results of the survey
 A survey made by The Organization for Economic Co-
operation and Development showed that:
 Tunisia ranked among the ten last in a survey focusing on
the understanding of writing also on mathematics and
science
 The results clearly show that the level of our pupils are still
far from averages of advanced countries education.

How to improve education?
• Teachers need to find the best way to present the subject to
the pupils
• The pupils, should respond with solid knowledge and a
willingness to learn more
• It requires effort from pupils and an enthusiasm to learn
something new.

Relationship with friends

 A person needs good friends


for his psychological development.
 Before
• we met friend at school
• Nowadays
• pupils keep contact with phone or through
internet.

 Pupils do not feel the need to go to school ..

 Pupils go to school by obligation.

 School is to make friends.

 To avoid the control of their parents.

 School is not for collecting knowledge.

communications
technology
 Fast evolution of the Information
and communications technology gained by pupils
nowadays
 They are very good in using information technology
 They are using it to play games and chatting

Relationship with sports
 Sport is way to relief stress from school

 Get in a good shape

 Sport gives pupils an opportunity to go out and socialize


 They do not practice sport.

 They lose a lot of time to watch sports specially football

Health
Before
 Pupils ate well balanced meal
Nowadays
 they eat sandwich.
They drink coke and coffee
Lot of pupils smoke
 Their health is not good.

Conclusion
 Pupils, parents, teachers and even the minister of
education share a big part of the responsibility.

 Minister of education should update professor with new


technology in wish pupils excel, so we can catch the
attention of pupils.

 Many sport clubs and others activities must run on a


Fridays after school.
