during the Pandemic: prospectus and
talents” which also helped me in doing

 Problem
When the Entire Globe was covered in the
Mist created by the virus and was struggling to
clear it, the process of providing light through
education to the young future had to get
adapted. The land of complete literacy had to
compete along with others to light up. This
project explores whether the sudden
conquering of the Knowledge by the artificial
intelligence and the wide shrinking of
textbooks into digital screen were acceptable ?
Is the new system creating a havoc in young
minds or enlightenment them? We’re they able
to find their comfort zone in the new normal?
and mainly did the new system updated our
state into a new level?

 Abstract

Kerala, the land of literature had tough time

providing and maintaining knowledge during
the Pandemic. The outburst of technology
made things much more miserable to the
economically weaker sectors. The access to
education became harder to some students.
While when the circumstances became
normal, the adaptations might have brought a
fruitful result. This paper concentrates on how
the Education during the Pandemic has
adapted and updated and how it reflects upon
the students and the society.

results.
2. To know whether online education updates
the education system.
3. To compare and summaries the online
education system.
4. To suggest ways to improve.
5. To find solutions to problems faced by
students, parents and teacher.

 Hypotheses

The COVID driven education system faces

many challenges and obstacles like lack of
understanding knowledge and health issues
due to overtime usage of gadgets. Moreover
home becoming the roof were many different
sectors process and the fact that schooling is
just one of them may decrease the attention of
parents and other members of the house
towards the student. Let us hope that even
though it had been tough, the Pandemic has set
new standards of education and a wider world
of wisdom.

among 2 age group of students.
2. A summary of data and findings about
online education.
3.A discussion with teachers to find an
alternative solution to the problems.

students studying in LP and UP schools in
different districts in Kerala.

One of the participants was named Ayana Sadiq. K of UP section ,

Stated that she has only one sibling and her family income is above 10,000 Rs /month.
Her parent’s occupation is labour , her caste is OBC Muslim .The equipments that
they are using at home are Mobile phones and TV. There are four rooms in her house.
These are adequate to meet the requirements of her online education and other needs.
According to her statement, she’s studying in a private school and the duration of the
online class is three hours per day, which is sufficient for her studies and the timing is
convenient for her. Her parents responded that there is sufficient break between their
classes. During free time, she likes to read books, watch TV films/ other
entertainment. They observed that she spent a lot of time on the phone and became
stressed as a result of online education. But she is enjoying it too because the teachers
are allowing students to talk to their friends in online meetings and also she says
teachers are really good at teaching. The child has technically improved and increased
general awareness are the key benefits of online studies. But she loses the bond
between her friends since their world shifted to a virtual world are the key challenges
and difficulties that the kid has faced during this period. If the current situation
prevails, suggestions of the parent for the improvement is,
allow the kids for meetups with their friends and will let them enjoy themselves. The
things that her parents would like to discontinue in order to make things better is
“Over usage of phone ”. The essential elements that they want to retain from the
current practices is they would like to see their child having a nice bond with her
teacher.

One of the other participants was named M.Darshan of UP section ,

Stated that he has only one sibling and his family income is above 10,000 Rs /month.
His parent’s occupation is private sector , he is in general category Hindu .The
gadgets that they are using at home are Mobile phones, tablet, laptop and TV. There
are five rooms in his house. These are adequate to meet the requirements of his
online education and other needs. According to his statement, he’s studying in a govt
aided school and the duration of the online class is four hours per day, which is
sufficient for his studies and the timing is convenient for him . His parents responded
that there is sufficient break between their classes. During free time, he likes to, watch

TV films/ other entertainment ,indoor games and dance . They observed that he is
Independently working . He says that he enjoy the online education because of the
homely atmosphere. Being safe at home is the key benefits of online studies. No
Physical contact with teachers and friends
No Physical exercises are the key challenges and difficulties that the kid has faced
during this period. If the current situation prevails, suggestions of the parent for the
improvement is,
Making sure about completing notes
Giving feedbacks about kids to parents themselves. The things that his parents would
like to discontinue in order to make things better is “Avoid unnecessary gatherings ”.
The essential elements that they want to retain from the current practices is Keeping
their house clean

Stated that he has only one sibling and his family income is above 10,000 Rs /month.
His parent’s occupation is priest , he is in general category Hindu .The equipments
that they are using at home are Mobile phones, desktop computer and TV. There are
three rooms in his house. These are adequate to meet the requirements of his online
education and other needs. According to his statement, he’s studying in a govt school
and the duration of the online class is two hours per day, which is sufficient for his
studies and the timing is convenient for him . His parents responded that there is
sufficient break between their classes. During free time, he likes outdoor
games/sports, indoor board games, music, TV/films/other entertainment, reading,
dance/performing/art and spending time with parents.. He says that he doesn’t enjoy
online education because he wants to go to school and enjoy with his friends. They
are saying there is nothing as benefit . The difficult is he wants to enjoy with his
friends but because of this situation he couldn't get out of the home is the key
challenges and difficulties that the kid has faced during this period. If the current
situation prevails, suggestions of the parent for the improvement is,
Maintain health.
Increase immunity.
Avoid junk food. The things that his parents would like to discontinue in order to
make things better is “ Spitting on road.
Public meeting.”. The essential elements that they want to retain from the current
practices is Get fully vaccinated.
Wear mask.

Stated that he has only one sibling and his family income is above 10,000 Rs /month.
His parent’s occupation is labour , his caste is OBC Muslim . The equipments that

house. These are adequate to meet the requirements of his online education and other
needs. According to his statement, he’s studying in a govt aided school and the
duration of the online class is six hours per day, which is sufficient for his studies and
the timing is convenient for him . His parents responded that there is sufficient break
between their classes. During free time, he likes,indoor games . They observed that he

“Reduce Screen time” . The essential elements that they want to retain from the
current practices is Better to open school.

One of the other participants was named Sneha . S of UP section ,

Stated that she has only one sibling and her family income is above 5000 Rs /month.
Her parent’s occupation is mechanic , she is in general category Hindu.The
equipments that they are using at home are Mobile phone and TV. There are two
rooms in her house. These are adequate to meet the requirements of her online
education and other needs. According to her statement, she’s studying in a govt aided
school and the duration of the online class is one hours per day, which is sufficient for
her studies and the timing is convenient for her. Her parents responded that there is
sufficient break between their classes. During free time, she likes to listening music,

watch TV films/ other entertainment , dance and spending time with parents. They
observed that she no changes. She is enjoying online education because she is
studying within comfort zone. Staying at home, safe are the key benefits of online
studies. Lack of socialization and game addiction
are the key challenges and difficulties that the kid has faced during this period. If the
current situation prevails, suggestions of the parent for the improvement is,
More care of teachers and interactive online classes. The things that her parents would
like to discontinue in order to make things better is “Gaming”. The essential elements
that they want to retain from the current practices is they says that self Education and

One of the other participants was named Thanusha . T of L. P section ,

Stated that she has two siblings and her family income is under 5000 Rs /month. Her
parent’s occupation is labour , her caste is OBC Hindu .The equipments that they are
using at home are Mobile phones and TV. There are two rooms in her house. These
are adequate to meet the requirements of her online education and other needs.
According to her statement, she’s studying in a Govt aided school and the duration of
the online class is one hours per day, which is sufficient for her studies and the timing
is convenient for her. Her parents responded that there is sufficient break between
their classes. During free time, she likes outdoor games , watching TV films/ other
entertainment and reading books. They observed nothing as a result of online
education.Going good and also she loves her online classes is the key benefits of
online studies. She doesn't face any type of difficulties is the key challenges and
difficulties that the kid has faced during this period. If the current situation prevails,
suggestions of the parent for the improvement is,

His parent’s occupation is expenditure , his caste is OBC Hindu. The equipments that
they are using at home are Mobile phones, tablet and TV. There are two rooms in his
house. These are adequate to meet the requirements of his online education and other
needs. According to his statement, he’s studying in a govt aided school and the
duration of the online class is two hours per day, which is sufficient for his studies and
the timing is convenient for him . His parents responded that there is sufficient break
between their classes. During free time, he likes to watch TV films/ other
entertainment ,indoor games and dance . They observed that he has become a little
lazy.But it's usual as part of the current situation.. He says that he enjoys online
education. Actually parents can understand the level of their learning and the quality
of the classes is the key benefit of online studies. Initially it was difficult for them.But
they came to know the seriousness of the situation.The main problem was that they
are not able to go to school and meet teachers and their friends, that was a big
problem.But for some extend the online classes could solve that are the key
challenges and difficulties that the kid has faced during this period. If the current
situation prevails, suggestions of the parent for the improvement is,
I would like to suggest something.
1.Aerobics classes for children.
2.Extra curricular classes.
3.Awareness classes. The things that his parents would like to discontinue in order to
make things better is nothing. The essential elements that they want to retain from the
current practices is also nothing.

duration of the online class is one hours per day, which is sufficient for his studies and

Our science teacher Vineetha Ma'am observed

some changes in the current online education
system. According to her the kids want to
spend more time infront of the mobile that
makes some health issues. Sometimes they
enjoyed this online classes. But most of the
time they missed their friends. The key
benefit of online classes is it helps to improve
the technical knowledge among the pupils.
The key challenges and difficulties are "They
have bored and became stressed. Here the
parents are playing the roleof teachers. Their
pressures make the kids stressful. The
suggessions for improving the things if the
current situation prevails are "strategies should
provide to improve their inner talents. Make
clusters then conduct the meet for each
clusters instead of whole class. she would like
to discontinue the sending of all activities in

the worksheets in order to make the things
better. The google meet platform is very good.
But she want a group of 5 students. that is the
essiantial element she want to retain from the
current process. The other suggessions of the
teacher are "provide facilities all students to
reach in google meet that also consider by the
Government. Mainly the net issues, the sim
that can access the range such things also
consider the authorities".

Suggestion

The standard of quality education was clearly
uplifted due the online education. Kite victors
channel and the meets conducted by the
teachers from the respective schools showed
light for the students to bloom indoor. The
excessive screen time and lack of exercise was
pointed out by some parents , it could be
sorted out by online pt classes and alternate
day distribution for school based classes and
that of victers.
