Dampak Covid-19 di bidang pendidikan

Chapter 1

a. Background

SD Negeri 1 Tempuran is one of the primary schools in the Wanayasa sub-district. SD

Negeri 1 Tempuran is located in Tempuran village on the north side of the main road
to Wanayasa-Kalibening. SD Negeri 1 Tempuran is located in a strategic area, so it is
not surprising that many parents send their children there. It has been almost a year
that students attend school online or from home. It is none other than this because of
the corona virus that is currently spreading. Teaching and learning activities that
were usually done face-to-face now have to be done online. This is in accordance
with the narrative of President Jokowi to study, work and worship from home. This
is to suppress and break the chain of spreading the corona virus.

b. Formulation of the Problem

1. Why should we comply with health protocols?

2. What do the students do at home?

3. What are the positive aspects of learning activities at home?

4. What do students have to do to be allowed into the classroom?

c. Research Purpose

To find out the smooth running of online learning activities and what activities are
carried out by some SD Negeri 1 Tempuran students while at home.

d. Benefits of Research Results

We can find out how the online learning system is currently being carried out and
what activities Iare carried out by students while at home.

Chapter 2

As we know, this corona virus has spread to almost the entire world including Indonesia.
Almost all sectors are affected, one of which is in the field of education. So this time, I
will discuss the online learning activities of SD Negeri 1 Tempuran students. It has been
almost a year that the students of SD Negeri 1 Tempuran go to school online or from
home. Teaching and learning activities that should have been done face-to-face, now
must be done online. This is in order to suppress and break the chain of spread of the
corona virus.

Online learning activities are indeed not fun because we have to study and do
assignments on cellphones, causing students to quickly get bored with that same
learning, so many students prefer to play rather than do assignments. For learning
media, almost all students use WhatsApp Group to do the work and send assignments,
for those who don't have a cellphone, you can ask neighbors who have a cellphone.

There are also some students who take advantage of this home learning activity to help
their parents, for example sweeping, washing dishes, washing clothes and others,
although not all of them, the positive side is that students can practice to help their
parents' work.

In order to reduce boredom, the school intends to hold joint learning activities in one of
the students' houses, but because in a neighboring village someone is exposed to the
corona virus, it remains a plan. But over time, it was felt safe enough that the students
were finally allowed to go to face to face school, which was once a week. Grades 1 to 6
have different day schedules. Before entering the Classroom each students is required to
was their hands and have their temperature checked, after which they will be grouped
according to their body temperature. Because the activities run smoothly and all
students comply with health protocols, the school allows students to go to school 2 times
a week even times a week.

Chapter 3

a. Research Place

The existence of this corona virus reduces the movement of the community, so this
research can only be done at home by asking a few students.

b. Research Time

The time needed for research is about 1 week, namely Monday-Saturday December
7-12, 2020.

c. Research Methods
The method used in this research is the interview method. So, to get related
information, I openly asked questions for the students to answer about current
teaching and learning activities.

With questions:

1. Besides studying, what activities do you do at home?

2. Do you feel bored studying like this? Why?

3. After being allowed, how many times do you attend school a week?

4. What media do you use to study online?

Chapter 4

The answer to the questions Capture 3 :

1. Apart from studying, I also help my parents with sweeping, washing dishes,
washing clothes and so on
2. Saturated, because we have to be monotonous doing everything from Handphone
3. After being allowed to enter, the first one entered once a week, then twice a week
and the last three time a weeksI use
4. WhatsApp to do and send assignments to the teachers

Chapter 5

a. Conclusion

With the corona virus like this has an impact on the world of education. Teaching
and learning activities at SD Negeri 1 Tempuran, for example, students of SD Negeri
1 Tempuran have studied online for almost a year or from home. Most of the media
used is WhatsApp Group to send and do tasks. Even though it is boring, online is an
effective way to keep teaching and learning activities going. After conditions are safe
enough, the school finally allows entry to the school by observing strict health
protocols.

b. Suggestions
Online schools are indeed boring, for that my suggestion is to make learning
methods as creative as possible so that they can reduce the boredom of the
monotonous learning students. Don't forget to always apply health protocols and
most importantly always pray to Allah that this virus is quickly eliminated from the
face of the earth, Aamiin ya Rabbal 'Alamin. Keep the spirit, Remember mom's
message : wear a mask, wash hands and keep your distance.

Thank You~
