Apple iPhone with iOS Operating System
Apple’s accessibility motto boasts that the iPhone is “as
accessible as it is personal.”
VoiceOver
The iPhone speaks what the screen is
showing. This is helpful iPhone users
that have vision issues.

In your iphone, go to settings >


General > Accessibility >VoiceOver.

From the options (shown on the


screenshot), select which feature suits
your needs best.
Hearing aids
Apple has created their
iPhones to be compatible
with hearing aids.

Go to Settings > General >


Accessibility > MFi Hearing
Devices.

Make sure BlueTooth is on


and your phone connects to
your hearing aids via
Bluetooth.
Subtitles

Subtitles are available for virtually every video


you can watch on an iPhone, which is necessary
for hearing impaired users.

Simply tap “CC” for Closed Captions for subtitles


to appear.
iMessage
iMessage allows users to communicate without
speaking a word.
Simple tap the “Messages” icon on your phone
and start sending texts.
Dictation
Wherever you would usually type
on an iPhone, you can tap the
Dictation button instead.

By doing this, you can speak


the words you want to type and
the phone will transcribe it
for you.
