Research Methodology: Survey
No. of questions: 26
No. of people answered the survey: 108
Target group: people already living outside of Bosnia
Hypothesis
Our hypothesis is that people are leaving Bosnia and
Herzegovina even though they are employed, or
they even didn‘t seek employement, but because of
the fact that emigration is becoming a trend
Survey analysis

2. 500-1000 KM (42.86%)
3. 1000-1500 KM (9.5%)
Average salary in Bosnia: 851 KM
Analysis
Three cases:
1. Unemployed in Bosnia (student), didn‘t have
personal success outside, high living standard out of
Bosnia
2. High salary in Bosnia, left for a good pension
fund, ashamed to come back because of his friends
and neighbors
3. Unemployed in Bosnia, didn‘t apply for a job, the
same living standard outside
„What did you gain outside?“
Got a job/better salary – 68.52 %
Education – 5.56 %
Better future for me and my children – 9.26%
Met a new culture – 3.7%
I just don‘t like Bosnia/Other people also leave –
5.56%
Better political situation – 3.7%
No stress – 3.7%
Hypothesis
The main reason why people leave is looking for a
better job environment, higher salaries and safer
positions, employment remains the main reason
There is a certain trend in the process, it is also
related to job employment, the trend is that a job is
easier to get outside then in Bosnia, which explains
why majority didn‘t even try to apply for a job
Our hypothesis is thus partially right
