INTRODUCTION

As the city modernization progresses, the number of

vehicles increases accordingly, Instead of taking public
transportation, people travel in personal vehicles to
different locations. Due to the lack of a well-planned
policy for parking facilities, the demand of parking
spaces is generally much greater than the supply.
Additionally, downtown areas are saturated with
commercial office buildings but not as many parking
spaces and face a significant traffic chaos. To
overcome above problem there is need of an
underground parking system. Our project also deals
with independent power source, i.e solar powered
using solar panel.
AIM OF THE PROJECT

Today’s world requires space in this compact modern

world.
Engineers are constantly confronted to the
challenges of efficient parking system.
Its source of power is also reliable as it is renewable
source of energy.
It is needed to further increase the efficiency of
parking for mass usage like shopping mall
,complex , office, domestic purpose etc.
What If Underground parking?

Also helps to maximize the use of a land plot.

Quite effective and necessary for metropolitan

cities

Independent source of power reduces expences of

operation in future than convention method.

ADVANTAGES

Complete freedom of Interchangeability.

More efficient than conventional garage.
Power is restored by sunlight.
Additional power is stored in a battery for other
use.
Simpler ventilation system
Low cost of installation and maintenance
LIMITATIONS

Technical bad planning may lead to accidents.

Ventilation must be under survillance

periodically.

Chances of fire hazards risk are always concerned.

Concern to toxic emmision of gas at

underground.
Future Aspects

The platform can be equipped with safety sensors.

It can be modified into fully automated parking

system reducing human effort.

Has a bright future in automation and robotics.

Can aslo be developed for large scale parking
system
Conclusion

• The model works correctly as per

the design calculations
• Wit h the help of this syst em , we
can efficiently reduce
• Fu rt her adva ncem en t in this
tec hn ology can be made.
