Overview of the Training

•Eight-day live-in training


• Participants are newly hired City/ Municipal Links
of Set 7
•Methodology: Lecture and workshop
• Provide a birds eye view of the Pantawid Pamilya
and the roles and functions as City/Municipal Links
•Expected Output: For MLs to be familiar with the
different processes and deliverables required from
them as part of their technical and social
preparation.
Objectives

General Objective:

At the end of the eight days training, the newly hired


City/Municipal Links will be able to implement the Pantawid
Pamilyang Pilipino Program at the city/municipal level in
their area of assignment.
Objectives

Specific Objectives:

• Articulate the design and concept of Pantawid Pamilya in the context


of DSWD’s Mandate and Convergence Strategy;

• Identify institutional arrangements of the program which will facilitate in


working with stakeholders, project staff, partners and beneficiaries;

• Explain the roles of City/Municipal Links in each step of the Pantawid


Pamilya Operation Cycle which will help them implement the program;
Objectives

Specific Objectives:

• Describe and apply the concepts and processes of the major systems:
Supply Side Assesment (SSA), Beneficiary Update System (BUS),
Compliance Verification System ( CVS and Grievance Redress System
(GRS) and other program components;

• Demonstrate beginning competency as facilitator in the conduct of the


family development session (FDS)

• Articulate the realities of fieldwork in the context of ML’s roles


engagement with partners and community development.
