Club
Purpose of the club

 If you are a student of the Lonestar college system you may join the
club. If drawing is your passion, we invite you to join the Lonestar
drawing club! Or if you are interested in drawing and would like to
increase your drawing abilities, you are more than welcome to join .
Although the purpose of the group is to draw for fun, this can also
be used as place where you can relieve your stress after a long
day.
Events of the club

 At the end of every year, there will be a competition of who can draw the best
realistic drawing. First place wins a prize.
 Participate in national drawing day which is on May 16th. On this day everyone in
this club will submit a picture to the Head Drawing Coach for judgement.
 June through July, Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 8pm,we will be attending
the second floor of the LSC student life building. Our club will be an after class
program to help de-stress the average college student.
 At the end of every semester the club will go together as a group to The Museum of
Fine Arts, Houston. We will be comparing the arts pieces and figuring out what kind of
techniques artists used.
 Participate in cyfair’s art exhibition
 Last Saturday of each month meet at the library to draw all day and share the
drawings that we had worked on throughout the month.
Why you should join

 The reason why you should join this club is too engage and socialize
with others with the same interests. We believe that drawing is an
important and essential drawing skill. It is an easy universal tool for
anyone to express themselves. Drawing is a positive healthy outlet
that has its benefits such as improved memory, increase of
emotional intelligence and improved problem solving skills.
