Celebration

Saint Patrick's is a festival of Christian origin that is celebrated annually on March 17 to

commemorate the death of St. Patrick of Ireland
It began as a religious celebration and has been transformed into a popular party where
green, clubs and beer are a distinctive part of the celebration.
What do people do?

In Ireland the celebrations for Saint Patrick last four days. During the celebrations, the city
dresses in green and the streets are flooded with music and dances. One of the most
important attractions of San Patricio is the thematic parade that takes place in the streets
of Dublin. In it, allegorical carriages and costumes are the main protagonists.
What do people do?

Another element that also plays a very important role in the celebration is the céilidh. This
traditional Irish dance, in which up to 16 people can participate, becomes relevant during
the festivities of San Patricio due to its fun competitions, which usually last long hours.
Drink and food also occupy a transcendent place. Lamb, potato bread, cabbage and lots
of beer
