Welcome to the

Unit Olympic Games!


Rules
★ You will compete in different events throughout the week with your
unit (blue, purple, yellow, or green).
★ Each person on your team will participate in at least one event per
day.
★ The winning unit will be the unit that receives the most points
throughout the week during all of the events.
★ If you are not being kind and/or respectful to your unit/other people
that are participating, you will not participate. No excuses.
★ Have fun!!!!

Day One: Teamwork and
Encouragement Events
Tuesday - Teamwork and Encouragement Events

● Speed Eraser

● Suck it Up!

● Post it Note Game

● Obstacle Course
Speed Eraser

● Each unit will have a set of 12-13 cups in the center of them (one for each

student).

● The goal is for each student to bounce a pencil from the table into the cup

(one pencil in each cup).

● The first unit to have one pencil in each cup will win.
Suck it Up!

● Each unit will be in a single file line and have one M&M.

● Each player will have a straw.

● The goal is to get the M&M from the start of the line to the end of the line by

passing it between straws.

● The first team to complete this task will win.


Post-it Note Game

● Each unit will get a three stacks of post-it notes.

● The goal is to see which unit collectively has the most post-it notes on their

faces at the end of 1 minute.

● The unit with the most post-it notes at the end of one minute wins.
Obstacle Course
● The first unit through the obstacle course will win.
Day Two: Focus and
Communication Events
Wednesday - Focus and Communication Events

● Cookie Face

● Sugar Cube Balance

● Cup and Paper Tower

● Breakfast Scramble
Cookie Face

● Each unit will be in a circle.

● Everyone will start together.

● Students will start with one chips ahoy cookie on their forehead.

● The goal is to get the cookie from your forehead to your mouth WITHOUT

using hands.

● The unit with everyone finished first will win.


Sugar Cube Balance

● Each unit will be in a single file line.

● Every student will have their own popsicle stick.

● The goal is to get the sugar cubes to the other end of the race area and put it

in the cup without it falling.

● The first team that has the most sugar cubes in their cup at the end of three

minutes wins.
Cup and Paper Tower

● Each unit will be in front of one table.

● Each unit will be given ten cups and 20 pieces of paper.

● The goal of this game is to make the tower as high as possible.

● The team with the highest tower at the end of one minute will win.
Breakfast Scramble

● Each unit will get a series of cut up cereal boxes.

● The goal is to solve all of the puzzles.

● The first unit to finish solving them correctly first will win.
Stuff the Bag

● Each student will receive a plastic bag.

● The unit to have all of their materials stuffed in the bag NEATLY and

QUICKLY will win.


Day Three: Organizing and
Cleaning Events
Thursday - Organizing and Cleaning Events

● M&M Graph Game

● Shaving Cream Game

● Wipe it Down!
M&M Graph Game

● The object of this game is to graph your M&Ms correctly independently and

then with a partner.

● The unit done correctly first will win.


Shaving Cream Game

● Students will each receive a small circle of shaving cream for their table

spaces.

● The goal of this game is to rub the shaving cream into the tables.

● The fastest team will win.


Wipe it Down

● The object of this game is to clean all chairs, tables, and assigned walls within

their units.

● The unit done in the least amount of time wins.
