MEDIA AND INFORMATION
LITERACY
1. The media is controlled and censored by the ministries in
the countries.
2. Also known as “Communist Media Theory”
3. It believes in freedom of thought and individualism.
4. Censorship-is a suppression of any communication which
may consider as harmful to the people, King, government
and its nation.
5. Neglects the freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
6. The whole control of the media is under the
leader of the nation.
7. They put end to the private ownership of the
press and other media.
8. It believes in freedom of thought and
individualism.
9. Press freedom in one hand, but other hand they controlled
the press by raising questions.

because it gives total media freedom and external controls.
