 1. Solar Panel:-
 What is solar panel?
solar panels absorb sunlight as a source of energy to generate electricity. A
photovoltaic (PV) module is a packaged, connected assembly of typically 6x10
photovoltaic solar cells. Photovoltaic modules consists of the photovoltaic array of
a photovoltaic system that generates and supplies electricity in commercial and
residential applications.

 what is the role of solar panel in this project? And how does it
work?
Photovoltaic modules use light energy (photons) from the Sun to generate electricity
through the photovoltaic effect. The majority of modules use crystalline silicon
cells or thin-film cells. The solar cell plays an important role as it Acts as the
source to a never-ending source of energy.
2.LDR Sensor( light Dependent resistor):-
 What is LDR ?
A photo resistor (or light-dependent resistor, LDR, or photo-conductive cell) is
a light-controlled variable resistor. The resistance of a photo resistor
decreases with increasing light intensity; in simple words, it works on
photoconductivity.
 What does LDR in this circuit?
A photo resistor can be used in light-sensitive detector circuits, and light-
activated and dark-activated switching circuits. So here it is used as Light-
activating switch.
 What is BJT?
A bipolar junction transistor (bipolar transistor or BJT) is a type of transistor
that uses both electron and hole charge carriers. In comparison, unipolar
transistors, such as field-effect transistors, only use one kind of charge
carrier. The basic function of a BJT is to amplify current. in BJT current flows
in 2 terminals E & C and current is controlled by Base.
 What is the use of BJT here?
BJT are used for Switching & amplification purpose. Here we are using it for
amplifying the current and for switching purpose.
 Definition:- A battery is a device consisting of one or more
electrochemical cells with external connections provided to power electrical
devices such as flashlights, Smartphone , and electric cars . In simple words ,
battery is supplying electric power.
 Batteries come in many shapes and sizes, from miniature cells used to power
hearing aids and wristwatches to small, thin cells used in smartphones, to
large lead acid batteries or lithium-ion batteries in vehicles, and at the
largest extreme, huge battery banks the size of rooms that provide standby
or emergency power for telephone exchanges and computer data centers.
 What is diode?
A diode is a two-terminal electronic component that conducts current
primarily in one direction (asymmetric conductance); it has low (ideally zero)
resistance in one direction, and high (ideally infinite) resistance in the other.
 What is the main function of diode?
The most common function of a diode is to allow an electric current to pass
in one direction (called the diode's forward direction), while blocking it in the
opposite direction (the reverse direction).
 LED ( light emitting diode) is a semiconductor light source
that emits light when current flows through it. In simple
words ,it is a Semiconductor diode that glows when voltage
is applied.
 Whereas an LED display is a flat display that is made of array
of LEDs their brightness allows them to be used outdoors on
store signs and billboards.
1. This project can be used to store never-ending solar
energy and utilizing it in various daily needs as of one is
our LED Display in Decoration and stage lighting.
2. This technique can be used in store signs , billboards ,
hoarding, display Board and Banners.
3. This project can but further be utilized and innovated in
other domestic as well as commercial fields such as solar
heaters, cookers, solar inverter power supply and using a
converter(inverter) to convert dc to ac and using it.
