The perimeter of a rectangle
is 25m and one of its side is
5m. How many metres is the
other side?

5m
?
Perimeter of a
rectangle is
2 (l + b)

Here we get ,

2(l + b) = 25 m
One side is 5m

So,

2 (5 + b) = 25
5 + b = 25 ÷ 2
5 + b = 25 ÷ 2
5 + b = 12.5
b = 12.5 – 5
b = 7.5 m
