Abstract
 An antenna is a device which transmit or receive radio waves.
 Why antennas are required?
 Why MIMO antenna array?
 As the wavelength of millimeters waves is so small.
 Why 1*8 MIMO antenna array?
 Resource limitations/ type of application.
 Why MIMO antenna array for 5G at 28GHZ?
 Low atmospheric absorption.
 Less free space path loss.
 HFSS( high frequency structure simulator) software will be used for design of
1*8 MIMO antenna. BSEE-FYP-B04-G05

 Why 5G?
 Rate
 Transmission reliability
 Energy efficiency
 99.99 percent availability
 100% coverage
 Can connect 10 to 100 times more number of devices as compared to 4G.
 1000 times more bandwidth per unit area.
