You are an Information Officer tasked to create

an INFOGRAPHIC showcasing relevant
information about St. James School of Subic, Inc.
in celebration of its 75th Founding Anniversary.
The Infographic will be posted on prominent
areas of the school where everyone, including
parents and visitors, could see them. The
Infographic will be assessed on content accuracy
and relevance, creativity and uniqueness, design
and appeal to audience.
 INFOGRAPHIC
• Also known as “data visualization” is a visual
image such as a chart or diagram that is used
to explain information or data.
• It makes the data easily understood at a
glance and quickly communicates a message
especially to simplify presentation of large
amounts of data.
• It is also used to easily compare data patterns
and relationships.
 Elements of an Infographic
• Thesis/Story – The subject and the main idea of
your infographic must be clear.
• Data – Data must be well-organized and supports
the main idea.
• Simplicity – Create your own style/color pallete,
must be able to attract readers, must not be full
of text, do not use stock photos
• Sources – cite your sources so as to give
credibility to your data
• Branding/Shareability – Must be creative and
innovative
 How to Make an Infographic
• Outline the goals of your infographic.
• Collect data for your infographic.
• Visualize the data for your infographic.
• Layout your infographic. (using an infographic
template)
• Add style to your infographic design.
