8085 architecture

 8085A is an 8 bit general purpose microprocessor capable
of addressing 64 KB of memory
 40 pin device, require a+5 V single power supply
 Can operate with 3MHz single phase clock
 8085A-2 version can operate at the maximum frequency of
5 MHz
Pins of 8085 can be classified into six groups:
 Address bus
 Data bus
 Control and status signals
 Power supply and frequency signals
 Externally initiated signals
 Serial I/O ports
