THE CALLIPER OR KING’FOOT

The caliper gauge is a precision instrument used

to measure small lengths, measurements of
external and internal diameters and depths. It
consists of a base scale graduated in millimeters
and a device called nonio that serves to increase
the accuracy of the base scale.
