in addressing a moral issue in the Philippines. They will choose a biblical text that can
shed light on the same issue, and how they can relate to the Lasallian Charism.

Dr. Salvador Araneta professed his faith to God, to
country, to humanity, to democracy, to the youth
of the nation, to education and research, and to
the fundamentality of agriculture. Dr. Araneta
expressed his faith in our youth that they can take
an active role to play nation building. His faith in
our youth is just the same faith of Rizal who
called them the fairest promise of our fatherland.

fight intellectual indolence among students,
