Research Findings and Discussion

• If 𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑 ≥ 𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 , the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothes
is (Ha) is accepted. It means that there is a significant correlation between tenses m
astery and speaking ability.

• If 𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒𝑑 ≤ 𝑟𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 , the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted, and the alternative hypothe
sis (Ha) is rejected. It means that there is no significant correlation between tenses
mastery and speaking ability.
