Analysis
The table reveals that parents need an intensive motivation and invitation to at
least be willing to partcipate in any school assembly.
Background
San Nicolas Elementary School believes in building a strong
relationship between school personnel and parents for a better school
performance. Hence, the collaboration between the two parties is necessary
so as to ensure the holistic development of a child. In line with this the
school does its best to provide different activities that require the
involvement of parents in achieving a common goal which is for the
betterment of the child. General Assembly, Cards’ Out and HRPTA
Meeting are activities done in partnership with the parents to uphold the
mission and vision of the school towards achieving a high proficiency level
thus, producing a functionally literate individual.
However, for the three consecutive years the attendance of parents in
every school assembly conducted was poor. Convincing the parents to
attend such, become the struggle of the school since they are also part of the
school success. The failure met was a clear indication that there should be a
program to be crafted to immediately address the issue. The school, then,
decided to conduct a CI program to identify the best solution to be used to
win the interest of the parents to attend assembly conducted by the school.

Analysis The table shows the intensity brought by the use of the CI Program due to the
considerable number of parents' participation during cards' out.
Every school strives to achieve a better relationship between parents and
teachers to strengthen the goal of building a child friendly school. In line
with this San Nicolas Elementary School does its best and continuously
exert extra effort in attaining such. Different school assemblies were
conducted to make the parents and teachers at ease with each other. Thus,
strengthening the relationship between the two parties.
However, school assemblies failed to accomplished its main purpose
due to the poor participation of parents. Hence, the school organized a team
that will help formulate a better solution to immediately address the issue
through a CI Program.
The CI Program aims to give us the best solution after identifying the
root cause of the problem/issue. Thus, San Nicolas Elementary School has
proven the worth of CI Program after its implementation. It turned out to
be a success due to the increase number of parents’ participation in the
school assemblies conducted.
Reaching-out to parents and striking the wall that divides between the
two parties became easy to achieve with the proper implementation of the
CI Program.
