• Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) initiative was locally adopted. It is
designed to eradicate extreme poverty in the country and promote
social development and human capital formation among the poor
and vulnerable households by investing in health and education.

• 2007, Ahon Pamilyang Pilipino, a CCT program, was tested in the

municipalities of Sibagat and Esperanza in Agusan del Sur, the
municipalities of Graciano Lopez Jaena and Bonifacio in Misamis
Occidental, the CARAGA Region, and the city of Pasay and Caloocan.

• In 2008, the formal implementation of Ahon Pamilyang Pilipino

started and it was renamed as Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program
(4Ps).

 The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

(4Ps)
-is a human development measure of the
national government that provides conditional cash
grants to the poorest of the poor, to improve the
health, nutrition, and the education of children
aged 0-18.

 Two Main Objectives of The 4Ps:

• Social Assistance
• Social Development

This research aim is to assess the status of Pantawid
Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries in Brgy. West
Bajac Bajac in City of Olongapo province of Zambales.
Specifically, this study will seek answer the following
questions:
1. What is the profile of the 4P’s beneficiaries.
2. What will be the strategies of the 4P’s beneficiaries in
utilizing the cash grants they received?
3. 3. What are the significant changes to the children of the
4P’s beneficiaries after years of receiving cash grants
using indicators?
4. 4. What are the possible recommendations and
improvements of the implementation of the 4P’s
Program?

 Participants of the Study

The participants of the Study are the 4P’s
beneficiaries in the Barangay West Bajac Bajac
City of Olongapo, Zambales.
